I had a privilege to become an intern with Humanitarian Affairs Asia. I would like to share some of my insights from this experience. Some of you might already realised that there are some actions, steps in our lives which help us to definite who we really are and what we are doing in this world. I can say that one of the most amazing, life changing experiences in my life was the opportunity to work with the H.A family in Thailand. The internship placement has enabled me to realize my full potential and allow me to find my career path.
I am not saying that everything will be smooth sailing. Sometimes you are going to face with real life challenges. But it will definitely help you to grow up faster and wiser.
After working in 7th USLS, I wanted to contribute more and the next year I turned back for 8th USLS with more delegates from Turkey. It was the first time USLS was hosting Turkish delegates and all of the effort I have spent was worth it after I heard about their experiences during the symposium. I would love to share many more experiences but let me finish it with this; It is not about our age, race or religion.
There is always something that we can do for the world. Big touch or a small touch doesn’t matter. We all have power to change someone’s life and make this world a better place. Believe in yourself, have courage to leave your comfort zone and watch how your life is changing. As I said from the beginning, joining to Humanitarian Affairs changed so many things in my life and It can be your time now!
