The Peace Summit of Emerging Leaders truly was the highlight of my university career. It was a humbling experience to listen to so many inspiring stories of compassion, inner strength, determination, and forgiveness – attributes that are essential to achieving peace. Each and everyone that I met along this incredible journey has inspired me more than they will ever know.
This experience has opened my eyes to the fact that although we live in a world that sometimes seems so dark that we often feel powerless, we can each make a difference through peaceful intention. I think the most valuable lesson that I learned here is that we all have the choice to achieve peace if everything we do, we do in love. Love for our world, love for other beings, and love for ourselves.

I am thrilled to embrace my new Humanitarian Affairs Peace Ambassador role because I truly believe that we can achieve peace and coexist in perfect harmony and freedom, if only we choose to act in love.
